Specially in the rubber segment, over its Division ECOaméricas (technology development center), Metal Americas operates a factory for the production of Regenerated Rubber through a controlled ecological process resulting in no pollutant emission, using a new recycling technology called HTNP (High Temperature No Pressure), with patent pending.

The Regenerated Rubber is the product resulted from the rubber "de-vulcanization", made through the process patented by ECOaméricas, which turns the dust of the tire rubber, or industrial waste, into a mass, resulting in high quality raw material, with properties close to natural rubber, that can be processed again and "re-vulcanised", in different production cycles, of rubber parts manufacturers.
